The Power of Word
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Olivia Oster is a writer living on Lookout Mountain, GA, whose fiction and poetry explore the spiritual aspect of common everyday life as well as the elements of life with which she is most familiar: chronic pain, parenting, gardening, cooking, and homemaking. Olivia is a teacher, wife, mother of five, and one who enjoys reading long novels while snuggled up with her rescued dachshund-beagle and chihuahua-mini-pinscher.

WIP Ollie of Daffodil Hollow
For years I have been working on various novels, and I have finally "finished" one of them to the point that I am ready to begin looking for a publisher.
Ollie is in tomboy heaven when she moves into a country hollow with a tiny farmhouse surrounded by all her favorite flowers and animals! Finding out there's a fairy who's working there and needs her help is even better than meeting her first cow. Come with Ollie on adventures across the pasture, over the hill, into the creek, and around the barn. She's sure to dig up excitement and get into mounds of trouble at every turn.
Children often have to overcome challenges and do hard things, and stories can help them make sense of their world. this tale of adventure and pain is told in a way that encourages young children to face those troubles with boldness and courage.
Ollie of Daffodil Hollow, a book full of beautiful pictures of peaceful pastoral scenes, quirky outdoor crafts and recipes, and illustrated songs of a fairy, the Lady of the Wind, teaches children and adults alike to find joy even through the struggles of life.
